Wallpaper installation across metro Atlanta

Most of what we do is the same two things done carefully: putting wallcovering up, and taking it down. What varies is the material, the room, and the state of the wall underneath. Most of a professional wallpaper hanger's day is not hanging paper at all — it is stripping, washing, patching and priming, because that is what decides whether the seams still look right in five years. Hiring a wallpaper installer rather than doing it yourself mostly buys you that preparation, and the judgement about which material belongs on which wall.

What we hang

Traditional pasted paper, vinyl, non-woven, and peel-and-stick all behave differently on the wall, and the difference matters more than the pattern does: paper expands when it is pasted, non-woven does not, vinyl is durable but unforgiving at the seams, and peel-and-stick only holds on a surface that has been properly prepared. We also hang the two materials that leave the least room for error — grasscloth and natural fibers, where seams are visible by design and the face cannot be cleaned, and printed murals, where a single image is split across panels that have only one correct position.

Rooms we work in

We paper every room in the house, and each one asks for something slightly different. Dining rooms and kitchens need a material that lives with cooking and cleaning. Accent walls and murals are usually a single wall with the whole effect riding on the layout. Bedrooms and nurseries and children's rooms are about what stays visible above the furniture. Bathrooms are the ones that punish poor prep, so edges are sealed and the material is chosen for the humidity it will actually see.

We cover metro Atlanta — Atlanta, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Decatur, Alpharetta, Roswell, Marietta, Smyrna, Johns Creek, Milton and Vinings — and the neighborhoods between them. Removal and wall prep

A good finish is mostly decided before anything is hung. Old paper has to come off cleanly, adhesive residue has to be washed away, torn drywall face needs sealing and skim-coating, and the wall wants priming so the new covering bonds evenly and strips off easily years from now. Wallpaper removal is also a job we take on its own, whether you are repainting, selling, or starting over with something new.
